Doh!

So I made a public mention of knowabout.it today and I guess I wasn’t supposed to (yet)…so I’ve disable it for now. Sorry if that’s what you are looking for here (hopefully I’ll be allowed to re-enable it before too long).

In other news, I’ve been busy hacking on things for bit.ly as a contractor during the days and pushing along a handful of other interesting projects as a freelancer/founding partner/interested party in the evenings and weekends.

Note: knowabout.it sort of blurs the line across both these roles because it’s something I built on my own time, but it’s entirely on top of a private bit.ly api — since the api it’s built on isn’t public yet, I guess I wasn’t supposed to let the public know about any services built on top of it (in hindsight I should have realized this).

Also I’ve been meaning to write the next post in my ‘beginning programming’ series for awhile now but just haven’t taken the time to sit down and actually just do it. I’ll work on that soon though I promise.

In the meantime, if you’re still in the mood to check out a ‘newish’ project that I’ve hacked together why not give one of these a look:

http://instapaperfeed.com which automatically adds great content from your Twitter stream or delicious account to your Instapaper account once a day.

or the almost ready for release (finally)

tagli.st - a filtered approach to Twitter lists.

…and don’t worry, I’ve got about five other projects I’m pushing along to alert you about soon as well (at least one of which I’m seriously considering as the basis for my next startup)…so stay tuned (and follow me on twitter)!
