Interview time...

My nephew came into town tonight on very short notice, so I spent most of the night hanging out with him (and blowing off work).

Tomorrow we are going to get up really early and I’m going to take him into Queens where he’ll spend the day being poked and prodded by the NYC Police department (he’s applying to be one of NYC’s finest)…if all goes well he could be into the academy as early as July!

I’m hoping it all works out for him because it would be great to have him in the area. But this is just one of the first steps he’s going to have to go through, so we’ll just have to take it one step at a time and see how things go.

In the meantime, I better get to bed and get my rest so I can get him to the right place at the right time tomorrow!
