For those of you that have a Kindle, I highly recommend checking out “Make Art Make Money” by Elizabeth Hyde Stevens.
It’s a Kindle Serial, which basically just means they are releasing each chapter one at at a time (as an aside, it’s a pretty interesting and fun way to experience the book)…and it’s also crazy cheap (bonus)!
Anyway - the book, so far, dives into some background on Jim Henson and how he achieved all that he achieved (without entirely giving up on creative control and his artistic vision). All of which seems to me to still be highly relevant and applicable to the startup world (where tech and art are still struggling to build a long, rewarding, and lasting relationship)
