Resolutions.

I didn’t bother to come up with New Year’s resolutions this year.

Partially because I’m happy with the plan and the path that I’m already working on, and partially because I just don’t like the hype around big ‘resolutions’ and being driven by nothing more than a date on the calendar.

I believe if you *really* want to do something, to start something, you do it. Don’t put it off. Don’t wait until a random date on the calendar. Don’t wait for a specific day of the week. Don’t wait until tomorrow. Don’t wait for the perfect storm…because it’s not coming.

Just get started. Right now. Adjust and adapt as you go.

And remember…it’s never too late. So even if you did make resolutions, and you’ve already started to fall of track with them…don’t let it get you down.

Just start again. Right now.

This is the personal blog of Kevin Marshall (a.k.a Falicon) where he often digs into side projects he's working on for digdownlabs.com and other random thoughts he's got on his mind.

Kevin also talks in more depth about many of the these things around twice a month via his drip campaign and has a day job as CTO of Veritonic. You can also check out some of his open source code on GitHub or connect with him on Twitter @falicon or via email at kevin at falicon.com.

If you have comments, thoughts, or want to respond to something you see here I would encourage you to respond via a post on your own blog (and then let me know about the link via one of the routes mentioned above).
